Foundation

FDAG was established by a group of passionate fashion designers committed to elevating Ghana's fashion industry.

2017

First Training Program

Launched our flagship Professional Fashion Design Course with 25 pioneering students.

International Recognition

FDAG received UNESCO recognition for promoting cultural heritage through fashion education.

Mr. Isaac Mensah

Mr. Isaac Mensah

President & Founder

Mr. Isaac Mensah is a seasoned Ghanaian fashion designer, educator, and entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience in the garment industry. He is the founder and CEO of Unique Garments Enterprise and currently serves as the National President of the Fashion Designers Association of Ghana (FDAG), an organization he co-founded in 2022 to unify and advance the country’s fashion sector. With a BSc in Fashion and Textile Design Education from the University of Education, Winneba – Kumasi Campus, along with various technical certifications and a diploma in journalism, Isaac has led numerous national training workshops under the Ministry of Trade and Industry, empowering youth across Ghana. Renowned for his design expertise, teaching skills, and commitment to vocational education, he continues to champion innovation, mentorship, and sustainable fashion across the country.
